    “Eisenerz ist ein ruhiges Städtchen, in dem die Abwanderung deutlich spürbar ist. An manchen Ecken wirkt es verlassen und leer. Empfehlenswert ist natürlich ein Besuch des Erzbergs und des wunderschönen Leopoldsteinersees, auch das "alte" Vitalbad (Hallen- und Freibad) hat Charme und man bekommt dort einen köstlichen Eiskaffee. Im Gasthof zur Post kann man gut und sehr preiswert essen. Die umliegenden Gipfel laden zu Wanderungen mit fantastischen Ausblicken ein - besonders gut hat uns der Stadelstein gefallen.”
