    “In Marcillac is een keurige redelijk uitgebreide supermarkt. Lekker brood. Vlees beperkt. Voor de uitgebreide boodschappen zijn we naar de SA COOP in Egletons gegaan. half uurtje rijden. Erg uitgebreide en mooie supermarkt. Voor de liefhebbers is er ook een Lidl.
    We hebben niet een fijn restaurant kunnen vinden. We hebben genoten van de natuur, ons huis met zwembad en gigantische tuin. Heerlijk kanoën op de Dordogne. Brocante markten, kasteel van Rilhac Xaintrie met rondleiding. Mooie plaatjes: Brive, Argentat. Maar allemaal wel 45 tot 90 min rijden. Dat was voor ons geen probleem. Weinig toeristen. Rust, natuur, Franse plattelands leven. Als je daarvan houdt is dit geweldig.”
