    “Der Ort ist sehr ruhig, man könnte ihn auch verschlafen nennen. Er liegt direkt an der slowenischen Grenze. 1 Restaurant, 1 Bäckerei, 1 kleiner Tante Emma Laden, Cafe's/Bars vorhanden. Sehenswert ist das Kastell, welches ein Naturkundemuseum beherbergt. Eine größere Stadt liegt 11 km entfernt, dort kann man gut und günstig die Dinge des täglichen Bedarfes einkaufen. Brod na Kupi ist mit seinen schönen grünen Bergen für Naturliebhaber geeignet, die ihre Ruhe haben wollen, und nicht davor zurück schrecken, dass man 1 1/2 bis 2 Stunden Zeit einplanen muss, wenn man die beliebten Touristenziele an der Küste Istriens besuchen will.”
