Nestled at the foot of the cliffs of the Prealps, refreshed by the River Drôme, the region owes its most beautiful monuments to Roman times. Witnesses of this ancient past are the city walls, the Porte Saint-Marcel and the many remains that you can visit in the Museum of History and Archaeology. In the heart of the city, you can't miss the cathedral, but the highlight of the city is undoubtedly the glittering and famous Clairette. After climbing up a mountain path just a few minutes from Die, you will arrive at the heart of an unusual beauty made of nature and exceptional views. Sunbathe by the pools of crystal-clear water in the cool corners of the Roanne gorges. Visit the Diois Museum, the butterfly farm and the Blue Garden. Not far away are the 800-year-old Notre-Dame de Valcroissant Abbey, the town of Crest with its highest keep in Europe, the Bourne gorges and the charming medieval village of Pont in Royans Repuié with its hanging houses.
