Porcaticcio, cozy cottage in the woods with pool

Our holiday home, next to our main house, is located on the Apennines on the border between Tuscany and Emilia Romagna. Perfect for a couple. The hilly landscape of the Senio Valley and the surrounding woods are ideal for relaxation, concentration and contact with nature. Porcaticcio di Sopra is also an artistic sculpture and painting workshop and is an hour and a half drive from the well-known art cities of Florence, Ravenna and Bologna. Our customers have appreciated Porcaticcio for these two main reasons: the house is hidden among the trees and in a little tourist area to be discovered; at the same time important cultural cities, pretty villages and the sea can be reached by day trips. Porcaticcio has two hectares of wood with private lawn for outdoor dining, sunbathing and relaxing: the new swimming pool of the property will be inaugurated in June 2019. From April to October Casola Valsenio, Palazzuolo sul Senio and Brisighella organize interesting popular festivals: Festa of Spring, Festival of Forgotten Fruits, Medieval Festivals etc. Porcaticcio is also just a few kilometers from: Riolo Thermal Center, riding stables, tennis courts, mountain bike tracks, golf course, numerous trekking routes and, of course, excellent restaurants and trattorias of the best Tuscan and Romagna cuisine. We offer lessons in sculpture, painting and yoga.

    “Das La Casetta ist sehr toll und ruhig gelegen. Die Aussicht ist fantastisch und wenn man morgens auf der Terrasse im Halbschatten sitzt und die Zikaden zirpen hört weiß man wieder wie schön die Natur sein kann. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll und freundlich eingerichtet und lässt nichts vermissen. Hinter dem Haus befindet sich noch eine tolle kleine Liegewiese auf der man sich auf der Liege oder dem Rasen in Sonne oder Halbschatten viel Ruhe gönnen kann. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und immer um unser Wohl bedacht gewesen. Wir kommen wohl wieder, denn wir haben noch nicht alles in dieser schönen Region in der kurzen Zeit von einer Woche sehen können. An dieser Stelle noch einmal vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit! Positiv: Ein kleines Paradies am Hang eines Waldes. Durch die sehr zentrale Lage können beliebte Ziele wie Bologna oder Ravenna an der Adriaküste schnell erreicht werden. Sehr sichere Region mit sehr freundlichen Menschen.”
